Mr. Bern, a Senior Partner in the firm, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (B.S., with distinction 1972) and from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1975. Mr. Bern is admitted to practice before the Courts of the States of Wisconsin (1975) and New York (1982). In addition to admissions to practice in the States of New York and Wisconsin, Mr. Bern is admitted to practice before the Federal District Courts in New York, Wisconsin, Arizona and many other jurisdictions. Mr. Bern's legal career spans over 30 years. He has tried more than 100 cases to jury verdict, and has settled hundreds of cases for amounts in excess of $1,000,000; total firm settlements and client recoveries exceed one billion dollars.
