

Richard Thomas
OVERVIEW
Associate Richard Thomas is a member of our Asbestos and Environmental Litigation Departments, responsible for all phases of pre-trial litigation, briefing and discovery.
While in law school, Mr. Thomas served as a Senior Associate, with editorial responsibilities, for the Pace Environmental Law Review. He also worked on pre-trial and discovery issues as a Law Clerk for plaintiffs’ attorneys in a number of international human rights cases, including Wiwa v. Shell and In Re South African Apartheid Litigation.
Prior to pursuing a career in law, Mr. Thomas was campaign coordinator for the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, working with personal injury attorneys and their clients to protect New York's civil justice system, fighting against legislative initiatives that threatened to limit the rights of injured consumers.
Mr. Thomas is an active member of the Bar Association of the City of New York.
