James S. Paglinawan
Mr. Paglinawan is a medical malpractice associate and trial attorney. Prior to practicing law, he spent almost seven years caring for patients as a registered nurse in emergency room and intensive care unit. After law school, he worked as an associate attorney at a New York City law firm, where litigated and settled medical malpractice cases involving catastrophic injuries. Thereafter, he worked as an associate attorney at another firm, where he litigated pharmaceutical products liability cases. He is a graduate of CUNY School of Law (2004), where he completed Health Law Concentration. He was admitted to practice in New York State in 2005 and is a member of the New York State Bar Association and The American Association of Nurse Attorneys.
Mr. Paglinawan possesses medical knowledge and extensive clinical experience necessary to litigate medical malpractice cases effectively. As important, he shows sensitivity and compassion to his clients. Having been a nurse, he appreciates how injuries from someone's negligence affect people and change lives forever. He speaks Spanish and Tagalog fluently and comes from a family of doctors, nurses, and lawyers.
