Adam Gana
Prior to becoming an associate with Napoli Bern & Ripka, LLP, Mr. Gana served as law clerk to the Honorable Alan C. Kay, United States District Judge for the District of Hawaii. As a law clerk, Mr. Gana drafted extensive orders regarding a variety of complex legal issues.
Prior to his clerkship, Mr. Gana served as an associate at the law firm of Sidley Austin, LLP. As an associate, Mr. Gana’s practice focused on complex securities cases. His responsibilities included, settlement negotiations, hearing preparation, drafting securities briefs, legal memoranda, pleadings and discovery requests.
While in law school, Mr. Gana was awarded the Justice John Marshal Harlan Scholarship for his academic performance, the Dr. Max Reich Award for Excellence in Civil Trial Advocacy, and the New York Law School Public Certificate Award for dedication to Public Service. Mr. Gana served on the editorial board of his school’s law review as an articles editor. Mr. Gana has also won numerous collegiate debating awards.
Mr. Gana is admitted to practice in the New York and the Unites States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern District. He graduated from New York Law School magna cum laude and from University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.
