Louisville Woman Files Fosamax Lawsuit
May 20, 2006Suffering from what amounts to a rotten jawbone, a Louisville, KY woman has filed a Fosamax lawsuit against Merck claiming the drug is responsible for the development of Osteonecrosis in her jaw.
There's no mention of such a potential side effect in commercials advertising the claim.more...In 2005, at the request of the FDA, Merck did add a warning. That's found on a 22-page document that prescribing pharmacies receive.
