James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act

Dear Client:
On January 2, 2011, the President signed the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010, also called the "Zadroga Act," into law. This new law provides health care and medical monitoring for those exposed to toxins released by the collapse of the World Trade Center towers and reopens the Federal Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) to provide economic relief to those harmed by the attacks. You may be eligible for additional compensation for your injuries, wage losses and medical through from the Zadroga Bill benefits.

We will be supplying you with the information regarding your  legal rights under the Zadroga Act once the new Special Master is appointed and develops regulations.  This will not be until 180 days from enactment, i.e., on or about July 1, 2011.
