Motorcycle Accident Lawsuits

If you have been involved in a motorcycle accident, there are many issues that need to be reviewed by an attorney to determine if you can file a legal claim. Because motorcycle accidents can cause near-catastrophic injuries and extensive property damage, you may not be able to resolve everything using your insurance or the insurance of the other party involved in the accident. When you have difficulty getting compensated for your medical expenses or replacing or repairing your property, contact an experienced personal injury lawyer who can evaluate your case to determine if you have an actionable claim.

Motorcycle accidents can happen in several different situations. One motorcycle can get involved in an accident with a car or a truck. Two motorcycles may become involved in a collision with each other, resulting in property damage or serious injuries. One motorcycle driver may hit a pedestrian or bicycle rider. All of these accidents can lead to serious injuries or property damage, which means that you may need to consult with a personal injury attorney. Having an attorney on your side can help you get the compensation you need to pay for accident-related medical expenses or property damage.

There are many causes of motorcycle accidents, some of which cannot be controlled by drivers. Bad weather can reduce visibility, make roadways slippery, or cause debris to blow into the road and obstruct traffic routes. Defective motorcycles can also be the cause of motorcycle accidents. In this case, your attorney may recommend a lawsuit against the manufacturer of the motorcycle. Driver error can also be a cause of motorcycle accidents. Examples of driver errors include speeding, running red lights, rear ending other vehicles, running stop signs, or making unsafe lane changes. No matter the cause of your accident, you should still seek out the assistance of an experienced motorcycle accident attorney.

There are several ways in which an experienced motorcycle accident attorney can provide assistance to you after an accident. Your insurance company may dispute the amount of a claim for property damage. If this happens to you, an attorney can deal with the insurance carrier and help to get your property damage claim resolved. If you were injured in your accident, you may need assistance in getting your insurance carrier to pay your medical expenses. An experienced attorney may also be able to arrange for a second opinion by a qualified physician. This legal assistance can be invaluable in negotiating with an insurance company and getting the money you need to pay the expenses you will have after a motorcycle accident.

The attorneys at Napoli Bern Ripka Shkolnik LLPare experienced in handling motorcycle accident cases and can help you negotiate with your insurance carrier or help you to arrange specialized medical care. We can also help you prepare for the possibility of taking your case to court. If you have been the victim of a motorcycle accident, contact us today to discuss your case and find out the best course of action to take to ensure that you get the compensation you deserve.
